Arriving

Public Transport: The nearest bus stop is on Riddiford Street at the Newtown shops: Stop #6019 outside Mr Bun, near the corner of Wilson St. It is roughly a minute of travel on flat ground from this stop to Smart Newtown.

Private Vehicle: There are 3 short-term car-parking spaces directly out front of the building, and disability parking is available approximately 10 metres further up the street. There are also parks on the surrounding streets—both Residents Only and free, on-street parking.

Getting in

There is ramp access on the right-hand side of the building, where the stairs level off.

The front door is automatic and opens outwards.

Getting out

There are two ways to exit in case of emergency: The front, main-entry doors or through the back room, which leads to a parking area. Both of these have no steps and are located on the ground floor, though the back room door may be difficult to utilize for people with mobility impairment.

Facilities

There are no public toilets within the Smart Newtown building. There is an accessible toilet to the right of the building, in the public toilet cubicles.

Smart Newtown's main area has narrow spacing between computer desks, but the 3 computers nearest to the office have relatively wide access (approximately 1.3m).
